The prologue of Romeo and Juliet calls the title characters star-crossed loversand the stars do seem to conspire against these young lovers.Romeo is a Montague, and Juliet a Capulet. The death of Mercutio is the first death in play and right after Mercutio dies Tybalt follows, along with the death of Paris, Romeo, Juliet, and Lady Montague.
